This was one of our favorite stops in our Florida trip. It took us over an hour to get there and was well worth it. FREE!

Review: by Will

Juno Beach was so welcoming that I went in to the ocean with all my clothes on. (This is not the first time that this has happened!) It is a wonderful public beach; just make sure you don't walk around barefoot because of all of the broken shells.

This is directly behind the Loggerhead Marine Life Center. It is a great place to cool off after you've spent the afternoon visiting the patients at the sea turtle hospital.

Along with swimming, Juno Beach offers good shell collecting, except the broken ones, and really fun rock collecting. Along with this you can just watch the waves or the birds. So even if you don't like swimming in your clothes you can have a wonderful time here.

The Loggerhead Center sometimes uses this beach to release their rehabilitated patients. My favorite sea turtle, Gideon, was released here just a couple of weeks ago.

Other Reviews:

Dad: There is a great little nature trail between the Loggerhead Center and Juno Beach. It gives a real feel for the dune ecosystem. There is also a nice little playground in the park. From March 1 through October 31 there are no lights allowed on this beach at night due to sea turtle nesting season.
